New York City landscape design (photography)

New York City is known as a concrete jungle but one of the city’s greatest attributes is the variety of parks, flower beds, fountains and public spaces that dot the area. Given that I majored in landscape design at Montana State, I’ve always had an inherent interest in that part of the city.

I’ve walked nearly every part of Manhattan but I’ve decided to set a project from now until the end of summer to discover as many parks, fountains and other landscape design-related spaces around Manhattan. I don’t claim to be a good photographer and, frankly, good photography isn’t a priority here. I simply want to show other people all the great outdoor spaces Manhattan has to offer.
