Heat ticket sales on fire

I love cheesy headlines, which is really why I love writing about the Miami Heat. (Not really.) I haven’t written a few stories lately about the Heat. One for WeightWatchers.com in which I outlined a new soft drink policy at American Airlines Arena. Another for SLAMonline which took a glimpse at their creation of WeWantWade.com, a microsite to garner support for re-signing Dwyane Wade. And now this for Wired.com, which takes a look at a new way of enabling prospective customers to purchase season tickets.

I found this story on a press release issued by the Heat and thought it was a perfect fit for Wired.com’s Playbook section. Sports and technology go hand-in-hand so hopefully you’ll see many more Playbook stories from me in the future.
